Takamatsu Tokyu REI Hotel

Location is super. The airport express stop right outside hotel. Small room is normal in Japan. But good enought for a solo traveller. Opposite is the shopping street, lots of restaurants around and only 8 minutes walk to JR station, or 10 minutes walj to the pier.

The hotel was only a short walk from the train station and located on the main boulevard. The room was reasonably large in size and the bed was comfortable. The location was close to the covered shopping streets that extend for a considerable distance with numerous dining options. There is a fairly good breakfast buffet available at an additional cost in the restaurant downstairs.

Very good hotel in Takamatsu, just 5 minutes walk from the JR Takamatsu station where I arrived and departed from. The staff was always on hand to help and ensure a great stay. They helped me a lot with sending my suitcase forward to my next hotel with Yamato and even kept in touch afterwards to follow it up. Free amenities are provided in the lobby like toothbrushes and hairbrushes and was most useful, as well as a phone charger in the room. I didn't partake of their breakfast as I had busy days ahead but I can say the spread looked nice on pictures I saw around the hotel. There is a Family Mart convenience store right there by the hotel exit as well as a Sukiya restaurant less than 5 minutes away; both solid choices if you're hungry after a full day of sightseeing. The Ritsurin Garden is not that far walking, about 30 minutes through the arcades which conveniently start right there at the hotel. The room was of a good size, with a good city view and very clean. This hotel was all in all comfortable and secure and I had a great 3-night stay there on my own. Thank you!

Great location! Walking streets close-by. Convenience store close-by. Room is nice and clean. Staff is friendly. Quick check-in and check-out. Have own parking at the hotel. The staff at the parking lot are also very nice and helpful. GREAT BREAKFAST!!

Great location, in the heart of Takamatsu and close to restaurants and the livelier areas of town. The room felt somewhat dated but was still very comfortable.
